My Mama's People Cleaned Houses. My Daddy's People Run Countries. The Money Spends the Same.
I'm Vivian Olodun, and I've spent my whole life getting in Proximity to Money.
I'm the daughter of a Nigerian father and an Afro-Latina mother, and I grew up understanding money from both sides: the discipline and the aspiration. That's my credential. I've cleaned houses, worked in corporate America, built a marketing firm that serves the rich and famous, and raised millions to fund women-owned businesses. Every step of it taught me the same lesson. Money moves through people, rooms, conversations, information, speed, and access.
My Story:
I Got Close Before I Got Wealthy
Long before I had money, I practiced proximity. I adjusted my gym schedule and found myself next to CEOs at five-thirty in the morning. I cleaned the house of an American Airlines executive, showed up with excellence instead of ego, and ended up with buddy passes that let me travel the world. I said my audacious dreams out loud and paid attention to who leaned in. Those habits changed my identity, my tribe changed around my habits, and my proximity changed everything else.
What I Do Now:
I Help You Stop Building Your Life by Accident
Most ambitious people are talented, capable, and full of ideas, yet they're moving too timidly, staying in inherited circles, and taking advice from people who are comfortable where they feel trapped. I teach them to choose better rooms, build a stronger tribe, participate in money conversations, and move like someone who belongs near the life they say they want. I call it the Proximity to Money Method, and it's grounded in my HIT framework: Habits, Identity, and Tribe.
